A front of more than 100 meters facing Nahuel Huapi’s lake. This exceptional landscape was one the factors that defined the architectural project. Contrary to what is usually sought –force the project to find interesting views-, in this case the challenge was to work hiding the landscape to dose the surprise effect.
Under this objective, the studio created a route that begins when crossing the access gate to the land and ends in the living of the house. A green fence that borders the vehicular road blocks the views of the lake and when arriving at the parking area, the volume of the house accomplishes this same function.
When you reach the hall, after a 180º turn from the garage, you discover the arid Patagonian steppe and the mouth of the Limay River. In the same hall, a new diagonal visual shows a natural spot known as “Puerto Americano”, and when arriving to the living-room the landscape of the lake -with more than 50km length- unfolds completely.
